Our partner, APMG International, announced that it has been appointed by AXELOS to deliver two new best practice certifications – Cyber Resilience and PRINCE2® Agile.

The Cyber Resilience certification, to be launched in June 2015, comes at a significant time for world economies as they grapple with the ever evolving threat of cyber crime and security. Following President Obama’s recent statement, Chris Barrett, COO at AXELOS, said: “We welcome the announcement made by President Obama in his State of the Union Address. Many organizations strive to understand what good cyber resilience looks like. It begins with an integrated set of decision support and operational frameworks.
“Our existing best practice portfolio, including IT Service Management enabled by ITIL and our Project and Program Management frameworks that includes PRINCE2, are in use by thousands of organizations around the world to effectively manage their operations and to build business value. The launch of the AXELOS Cyber Resilience best practice portfolio in June this year will further enable organizations to build on these existing operational practices and to effectively tackle the challenges brought by ever increasing cyber risks.”
Meanwhile the announcement about PRINCE2® Agile was greeted with great enthusiasm by APMG’s accredited training community. Nick Houlton, COO, APMG International said, “The adoption of Agile PM Methods has been growing rapidly worldwide over the last 3 years as organisations seek to reduce time to value and improved business performance. PRINCE2 Agile brings world leading best practice into this arena providing exceptional guidance for today’s project manager.”
Both new certifications are due for release later in 2015 and will be delivered by APMG’s Accredited Training Organizations, whose quality training courses will deliver great results for candidates.
