PMI Sponsored Research Program

Each year, PMI Academic Resources Department solicits proposals for research funding on any topic related to project, programme or portfolio management. The funding is for new research from around the globe that advances the project management body of knowledge.

The call for proposals for the 2016 funding cycle opens on 1 February and closes on 25 April.

PMI awards up to US$50,000 to selected recipients. Proposals should have a direct application to some aspect of the project management body of knowledge or its practice, including topics in management, organisational psychology, sociology of formal organisations, education, linguistics and others.
