Project Management Professional (PMP®)

The 4th highest paying and the first that is not security related, the PMP certification was created and is administered by the Project Management Institute (PMI®). It is the most recognized project management certification available. There are more than 630,000 project managers who are PMP® certified worldwide.

Education: To become certified, individuals must have 35 hours of PMP-related training

Experience: with 7,500 hours of project management experience (if they have less than a bachelor’s degree) or 4,500 hours of project management experience with a bachelor’s or higher.
