This initiative is being run in collaboration with PMI Germany, PMI Finland & PMI Ireland and is aimed to empower Women in the Project Management profession and the program will run for 6 months (February to July 2023.) The event is an introduction to the FEMP program.

For projects like building a power plant or a train tunnel, tough project managers are needed. But when it comes to developing digital or physical products, the role of a project manager has an increasingly difficult standing. During agile or digital transformations, new roles emerge to take over project management tasks. So, are project managers needed in these areas in the future?
After an introduction on how agile is disrupting product and service development, Christoph Wolf and Stephan Adler will show how project management tasks are handled in a lean and agile environment. They will discuss the new roles and show a way how project managers can fit into this setting and have an active discussion with the participants.

Mardi 7 – PMI France Midi-Pyrénées – PM Café
Envie d’une nouvelle façon de se réunir autour de la Gestion de Projet ? Ça tombe bien ! Le PMI Midi-Pyrénées vous propose un nouveau concept d’événement : Le PM Café.
Quel est le concept ?
Nous vous proposons de nous réunir tous les 2 mois de 18h à 19h autour d’un verre (ou d’un café) dans différents lieux conviviaux et chaleureux autour de Toulouse afin d’échanger en petit comité (12 personnes maximum) sur la gestion de projet (thématiques, jeux, networking, etc…).
Dans quel but ?
Organiser un événement récurrent, fédérateur, convivial, participatif, qui devienne une routine motivante pour l’ensemble des membres MiPy.
Dans quel endroit ?
Nous avons identifié 5 zones : Blagnac, Labège, Colomiers, Toulouse, Balma. Nous tournerons donc dans 5 endroits différents au fil de l’année pour satisfaire un maximum de membres.

Nous organiserons 1 ou 2 ateliers (à ajuster selon le nombre de personnes) et nous proposerons plusieurs formats :

- Echanges anecdotes en lien avec la gestion de projet

- Et bien plus encore… en fonction aussi de vos souhaits !
Mardi 7 – PMI France Cergy – Bénéfices d’une structuration efficiente des données projets
Dans de nombreuses entreprises la difficulté à gérer les informations des projets est évidente. La difficulté est d’autant plus grande que les projets sont complexes, donc difficiles à structurer et à maitriser.
En phase de démarrage, on semble manquer d’une démarche systématique. On a souvent l’impression d’avoir à des tâches à faible valeur ajoutée d’un projet à l’autre.
La cohérence entre les métiers est une difficulté récurrente. Il semble exister des silos dans lesquels chacun fait son chemin avec ses données indépendamment des autres.
Le rex est un problème car la structure des données a évolué entre l’époque des objectifs et celle des résultats. Les rex des différents projets ont des structures différentes interdisant une bonne capitalisation.
En cas de litiges exhumer les informations nécessaires est à chaque fois un défi.
L’IA peut-elle nous sauver ? Comment améliorer notre productivité, comment nous débarrasser des tâches à faible valeur ajoutée ?
Mardi 7 – PMI France Provence – Kick-Off Meeting
Cette soirée sera l’occasion de présenter les nouvelles du PMI et le calendrier des évènements 2023, échanger sur vos attentes, vos idées/suggestions pour la Branche Provence, et plus simplement de networker, rencontrer vos pairs et partager vos bonnes pratiques, les tendances et d’approfondir les pratiques en gestion de projet.
Mardi 7 – SMP – La nouvelle loi sur la protection des données,
quel impact pour la gestion de projets ?
La nouvelle loi fédérale sur la protection des données entrera en vigueur le 1er septembre 2023.
Dans le prolongement de la loi de 1992, elle apporte de nouveaux droits pour les personnes dont les données sont traitées et de nouvelles obligations pour les responsables du traitement et les sous-traitants, complétés par des pouvoirs étendus de l’autorité de surveillance (PFPDT) et de nouvelles infractions pénales.
Un projet qui implique des données personnelles ne peut plus s’improviser. Dès la conception d’un traitement (privacy by design), le responsable du traitement doit mettre en place des mesures techniques et organisationnelles pour assurer le respect des principes (notamment la proportionnalité et la finalité) et des obligations légales (information, sécurité, sous-traitance, transfert à l’étranger, annonce des violations de la sécurité, etc.)
Durant cette soirée-débat, nous verrons à l’aide d’exemples concrets les principaux éléments à prendre en compte lors de la conception d’un traitement, afin d’éviter des violations ultérieures.
Mercredi 8 – Scrum . org – How to Improve Communication and Collaboration Between Developers and Scrum Masters
There is a common myth amongst Developers on Scrum Teams – « When the Scrum Master doesn’t interfere with your work, it’s already good. » Such an opinion can be symptoms of a problem.
Scrum is a tool that helps people, teams and organizations generate value through adaptive solutions to complex problems. If Scrum is a source of frustration (because, for example, « the Scrum Master keeps on distracting us »), it’s a sign that it is not Professional Scrum but the team is just going through the motions and not embracing what Scrum has to offer. In this Scrum Pulse, PSTs Joanna Plaskonka and Magdalena Kucharska will talk about these misconceptions and consider what you can do to make working with Scrum Master better and more effective through communication.
The audience will take away the following:
- Scrum Masters have a lot of positive energy and they want to help Developers, sometimes too much. Scrum Masters may get lost, too. The audience will see Scrum Masters’ efforts and channel them towards something useful and valuable in terms of product development and good collaboration within the Scrum Team.
- Language and intentions matter. Focus on what’s behind the words you are using in relations with Scrum Masters (and other Scrum Team members)
- We all thrive towards greatness and mastery. Scrum is there to help us, as well as Scrum Master. The audience will get some ready to use communication tools that they can work with and support Scrum Masters on their road to excellence.

La première réunion des bénévoles d’Horizons sur Zoom le jeudi 9 février 2023 à 17h00, heure de Nouvelle-Calédonie (c’est-à-dire jeudi 9 février 2023 à 7h00 heure de Paris et de Cotonou, et mercredi 8 février 2023 à 20h00 heure de Tahiti).

Statistics show that only 30% of Project Managers and 20% of IT professionals are women.
Several reasons explain this gap, however much to do with stereotypes associating IT industry workers and leaders with masculine traits.
However, recent studies show that skills and traits considered feminine, such as empathy, listening, collaboration, relationship focus, caring and servant leadership, are the ones that most motivate collaborators, especially in times of crisis.
Awareness of the existing gap and the benefits women leaders provide in projects helps promote diversity in organizations, projects and the information technology industry.
