PMI Project Risk Management Community of Practice
The webinar presents a case study of successful application of Risk Management to a project. It suggests a change in the culture of Planning and Project Risk Management, from the traditional analysis and risk treatment, done by rigid models based on reductionist and deterministic theories, to a probabilistic and holistic model. It emphasizes the focus on uncertainty instead of risk and is a more comprehensive and complete analysis and risk treatment.
Project Risk Management Methodology is important and necessary but not sufficient in itself to project success. We need to go beyond it. This case is based in the fundamentals of excellence, such as systemic thinking, organizational learning, culture of innovation, leadership, behavioral changes and attitudes, among others.
Mr. João Moschim, PMP has extensive experience in evaluation of processes within the oil, gas and energy industry.
